The picture attached is Dad at my wedding in 2011. We had a wonderful day and Dad was truly on form.
He was completely bowled over by my bride, Adele. He remained like that throughout the last 13 years. Its so nice to be able to reflect on so many times sharing a meal, telling jokes and laughing.
My brother Chris was best man. Dad was so proud of his sons. We’d all taken the opportunity he made for us and in our own ways were successful. Chris had gone on, as an entrepreneur, to own a large exporter of unique, UK developed and produced food products.
Bryan, his youngest son, was a dual qualified nurse, both general and mental health. He went on to work in senior positions for prominent HIV charities.
I’m also in business, operating in the healthcare sector.
I think Dad instilled an innate competitivness in all three of us, something i’d only considered in the last few weeks.
I’m very lucky to have such wonderful memories. This was especially true given the myriad attempts to try and prevent us seeing each other. Our light shone brightly.
Missing you so much Dad,
all my love, Andrew
